"My evaluation of the English class"

This semester in the Englishman's class I could have advanced little mas in the study of this language. I believe that this semester has been mas entertaining that the previous ones and mas dynamic, though I have been absent because of health and I could not have fulfilled totally with the class, it has been a good experience. I believe that this class has the rigor that other class have to have, as for the commitment of the teacher, the utilization of the materials of the university, the different evaluations, the guests and the fact of being informed always for u-cursos. Undoubtedly it might improve the class, as for the levels, they can you add more levels this way to promote other areas of this language that in the future sera very useful in the development as professional, such as the oral expression. For my Englishman's class it has been one it defied very big where I have learned very much, which has not been easy but that has helped me in class as geography of the soils and in the class Chili 1, for that I have had to read in English and then to present to the classmate in order that a debate is generated. In addition I want to be grateful for the comprehension of my situation for the teacher, since for my disease I could not have expired completely with the class.

Bullying

In our society and in many countries in the world occur abuse of all kinds and at different scales. Within these abuses is the " bullying " which is given at the school and also university , which is to intimidate the victim in different ways, physically and psychologically . The " bullying " is defined as a pattern of behavior that involves an imbalance of social , physical or other power, in which there is an abuse of power or of position in front of the victim which is intimidated by one or more persons . The bullying may be present within a group of friends, also is highly common in schools, in college, at work and in social groups , so it is important to be vigilant when in a place no victims of bullying or are part of bullying.
Within the context of bullying many involucarados first is the person who makes bullying , which in different ways intimidates his victim , feeling dominion over them . Second is the victim who is constantly bullied by one or more persons . Last but not least are the people who see the bullying and do not report it or intervene to stop the abuse , these people are the ones to stop the bullying circle .
In my opinion the bullying is a global problem , because everywhere there are abuses and intimidation. Today, with increasingly intense competition people are more individualistic and selfish , no matter what others feel , within this competition is that we need a person who is inferior to us to feel superior , which is why some people who seek to intimidate others. Therefore it is important to be aware of our surroundings to stop bullying in society , as the psychological and physical damage is very serious .

It forms a corner With Vicuna Mackena with Alameda

Traffic light opposite to the Museo de Bellas Artes
Santiago

Santiago is the capital of Chile, which is located in the metropolitan region, where one finds the administrative and commercial center of the whole country, representing the center of Chile.
Santiago is a pole of attraction of work, services, education and trade, is because of it that the persons migrate of other regions towards santiago.

The transport in the city is multimodal, since his inhabitants are transported by means of cars, bus, bicycles, subway, etc. Due to the persons' great quantity that they travel to santiago every day, the means of transport collapse daily, there being a traffic jam, collapse in the lines of subway and buses. These problems have his explanation in the absence of public policies that answer to the needs of the people, since the government has not done a reading of the territory to realize a politics of transport, example of this it is the "transantiago".

Changing topic, in Santiago it is possible to find a great range of possibilities to enjoy activities the free time, from walks along the park as visits to cultural centers and museums. Inside the city one finds the Forest Park that is the green lung of the city. in addition the park can be visited san borja, the park bustamante, the hill holy shiny and san cristobal, between others, where the people can walk, to play sports and to meet.  Besides the parks, santiago possesses a great number of museums and cultural centers, for example there is the Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral (GAM), The " Museo de Bellas Artes".
In the last years the investment for the tourist development in santiago to grown as the interest that exists to preserve and show the beauties that santiago possesses, for example has developed the tourist activity inside emblematic Neighborhoods, since it it is the Barrio Lastarria, Barrio Italia, Barrio Bellavista, which there receive tourists of the whole world, in all the dates of the year.
Santiago is a complex city, which possesses problems of transport but which articulates a series of cultural very attractive elements for the foreigners and inhabitants of the capital.

My experience at school

My experience in high school was a very rewarding experience which many people could relate to, learn and grow.
I from 5 years to study at the same school, both my primary and secondary school, my school is called Santa Maria de la Cordillera and is in Puente Alto, about 30 minutes walk from my house and about 10 minutes in vehicle.
My high school was kind of scientific humanist, which prepares you to give the PSU, one of my favorite classes in school was math, where during the four years to participate in olympics part math and math summer school in college in third grade, one of the classes that I liked was history and chemistry, in which he had good grades.
Overall in the four years of high school, tube well in the ratings, without studying much at home, had good grades, and that paying attention to class.
The atmosphere at my school was nice, since most of my elementary school classmates were enrolled in the same school, with peers almost 10 years most of them, creating very strong friendships.
My best friends all met at my school.
Within my school participated in many activities, extras, was part of the football team, in second grade I was vice president of the student center and in third grade I was president of the student center, being a very eriquesedora experiensa and entertaining, where we make many projects which to this day continue to be implemented. also part of a social action group intervention in the same town of Puente Alto.
overall my experience at my school was very good and within my life, because in this instance known great friends and learned a lot of very good, plus you can have the instance to participate in many extra activities to the subjects and to study in a good atmosphere, and that within the limits that has a school, there were escensiales freedoms according to my opinion for a good atmosphere, not having inspectors freedom in uniform and spaces that were given to develop as students.

Advantages of a 21 year old man

I am a man with 21 years

Today in Chile to be a man is an advantage in many ways, but also has its disadvantages.

In our society to be a man has many benefits, as for a long time different elements have been built men in mind, Chilean society being a 'sexist society " for example architecture, transportation, sports and culture, are thought for man.

I have 21 years and I feel very advantaged by to be a man within Chilean society, but I think it is a responsibility to women, so they can have the same opportunities as us men.

To my age, there are many advantages to be man and I'm at the limit between being young and being an adult, as give us adult responsibilities without being adults, unlike many women. For example in youth work, the man makes more money than women.

Another advantage is that women my age do not have the freedom that men have at my age, being more independent and taking more responsibilities.

One disadvantage of being a man of my age is that we are displaced, and we think we can bear more than women, adults and children, being assigned to work hard, to wait, to stand on the subway, etc..

So I think that Chilean society must step in terms of equal opportunities and social responsibilities without neglecting the qualities of each genre.
If you are a man you have to consider that in our society have many advantages, but also have a great responsibility, because it is a task for all that society can understand that we all have the same opportunities, creating a more inclusive society.

If you are a woman you must understand that today the world is evolving in terms of the integration of women in many ways, but they should know that sexism in society is the fault of everyone, and you women have a big task to overcome this and be integrated to the places that were displaced.

Alto Maipo, Hydroelectric (oral presentation)

Growth v / s Development

Today in Chile and in many countries of the world, economic growth is connected with the production of energies, that is how our country great energetic projects commitment.
Recently the environmental challenge to large energy projects, such as hydro has been the subject of debate.
Regarding this issue, some questions arise, like what is the vested interest that exists in these projects?
Who are the beneficiaries of these projects?

Alto Maipo is a Hydroelectric Project to be held south of the Region Metropolitana in the Maipo river basin and is another example of latent environmental conflict.

In the commune San Jose de Maipo its inhabitants have the possibility to live in the countryside  only 52 kilometres from Santiago. Surrounded with a rich flora and fauna, mountains and rivers, the place turned into a zone favored to enjoy the nature and to practise varied sports. As such, it was declared in 2001 " Zone of Tourist National Interest " by the Sernatur and, in 2006, " Natural reservation of biodiversity of international interest " by the Departamento de industria Minera.

But this commune not only is a natural attraction, but also it fulfills a strategic and fundamental role for the life of 6.685.685 inhabitants in Santiago, since it supplies to the city with 75 % of drinkable water, allows to water agricultural hectares and provides 80 % of the arid ones used in works of construction in the Region Metropolitana.

However, his environmental wealth would meet affected, according to some, for the Hydroelectric Project Alto Maipo (PHAM), of the company AES Gener, which understands the construction of two head offices of spent, Alfalfa II (275 MW) and Las Lajas (256 MW), in the high sector of the Rio Maipo, specifically in the valleys of the rivers Colorado, Volcano and Hokkaido, of which it would catch part of the waters and would return them to the riverbed in the sector of "El Manzano", according to AES Gener.

In my presentation the elements were detailed even more on the hydroelectric centrals, so the dialog will be open for new opinions and criticals.
